What is PICKED?
PICKED is a live social game for singles. You spend an evening in one room with other guests, play through short rounds built around real conversation, and use your phone to share first impressions and choices privately.
What makes PICKED different?
Most platforms are built on profiles and messages, where you can never be sure who is real or who is writing back. PICKED happens in one room, with real people you meet face to face. There are no fake profiles, no message threads and no endless swiping. What happens next comes from real conversations and real choices.
What is the mystery in the game?
Not everything is revealed at once. Along the way you get hints and surprises instead of a list of matches, and the final reveal depends on real choices made by the people in the room. It plays more like a game with a twist than a typical matching service.
How does the event work?
A host guides the room through a series of rounds. You talk to people in person, then rank who you’d like to know better in the app. At the end you make your final picks, and the host reveals the choices that were mutual.
Do I need the app?
Yes, you use it during the game. There is nothing to download from an app store: you open a link on your phone at the event and add it to your home screen. Bring a charged phone.
Is my information private?
Your choices stay private. Other guests never see how you ranked them or who you picked. Only the host can see the choices, and only to run the game.
Is my data stored or leaked?
We keep as little as possible. Your profile and choices are stored only while the game is running, so it can work, and are deleted after the event, within 7 days. We ask for your consent before you start, and you can ask us to delete your data at any time. We can’t promise that nothing can ever go wrong online, which is exactly why we keep so little and delete it. If you join the waitlist, we use your email only to tell you about events, and you can unsubscribe whenever you like.
Who can join?
Single adults who want to meet people in person. The first events run in Hamburg. Age range and language details for each edition are shared with the waitlist before tickets go on sale.
Where and when is it happening?
PICKED starts in Hamburg. The venue, dates and tickets haven’t been announced yet. Join the waitlist and you’ll hear first.
